The first website I found is called Busy Teachers Cafe, and has a lot of information and printable things for teachers to see and use in their classroom. One of my favorite things on their is called Themes and is a very useful piece of information because it has themed work for every holiday. It is very interesting and even includes many of the smaller holidays that might still be historically important. The printable information they have is awesome because they have it for every subject and its parts. So for English they have grammar and punctuation and word searches and stuff. They also have a page for new teachers giving them tips and ideas for just starting their teaching career.

The second website I found is called the Teachers Corner. this website is also full of interesting information and has a lot of good things for new teachers and those looking to change things up. One of the coolest parts is that they have lesson plans for people to look at that have been voted into being on the website. They include new and awesome ideas for teachers looking for something different. They also have book notes for all different kinds of books for K-12 which help teachers find themes and motif of what the children are reading. Lastly, they had some pretty awesome bulletin board ideas which I think would be awesome for being in a new class to keep the kids interested and wanting to come into the classroom.

Growing up I loved watching PBS and they have a website for teachers. I love the site it is very innovative and aesthetically pleasing. The website is broken down into grade groups and then the actual subjects come from there. This website is a lot like webquest but it is easier to search for and find certain things. The subject you choose is broken down into even more categories. Classroom Resources, Discussion, and Professional Development. All three of these have many things to offer and are extremely good resources.

This is a place for students to come to check up on class and assignments due for the week.

Silent Library Game Show Thing #20
This video is something that I thought would really enhance my blog. this video is very funny and takes place in a library so it is very relevant. Again messing around with the button gave me a new understanding of what all can be done with videos off of youtube. The process was very simple and made for a great experience in dealing with blogger. Hope you enjoy : )
Talking Metal thing #21
Talking Metal
Through this link I have seen what it takes to add a podcast to my blog. It was an interesting process because I was pretty confused as to what I needed to do to get it onto my page. The awesome part was that just by fiddling around with it I was able to find out what needed to happen. I went onto google and searched for interesting podcast until i found one. I never really knew what all the little emblems were underneath the podcasts, but again, by clicking around I found out that they are for adding podcasts to certain sites. It was easy enough once i figured it out. And this podcast seems to one that will be very interesting to listen to in the future.

Technorati Thing #14
Technorati is an amazing website. After looking through it anyone can find anything and probably multiple blogs on top of that to look at. It is an amazing site for searching news feeds and new stories as they come out. When searching through the blog I was able to find my own blog by typing in its name in the search bar. This website tracks millions of blogs and it was pretty amazing to find my own. Just going to the website is easy and it is easy to use. Technorati is an amazing website. Wordle Thing #12
Worlde is an amazing tool for seeing what sticks out in important pieces of information. This would be an amazing tool for students to analyze texts and books from earlier time periods to see what sticks out to them from the reading. The World i created is based off of an article written from one of my favorite musicians who just recently passed away. the words NEVER and EVER were the biggest words and it was interesting to see those words stick out amongst all the others. Students would be able to gain amazing insight from creating Worldes on their own about things they are interested in.

RSS Feeds Thing 8
This is an amazing tool that can be very useful in making news more accessible and interesting. instead of having students watch TV they can now look at the feeds and websites instead of watching boring people read. This was a cool experience because it showed how easy it is to add RSS feeds to my blog. Once it was explained it was straight forward and a lot of fun figuring out what to do. the process is very simple also on Google you find the blogs you like and then blogger takes them right from Google.
